STATE SHORT COURSE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The highlight of the Short Course swimming calendar, the NSW State Championships, is finally here.

Held over the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of October at the Central Coast’s newest swimming facility, this is a great excuse for a quick weekend away.  Alternatively for those so inclined it’s a nice destination to drive up, compete and come back the same day.  The flyer for the carnival is at:

 http://www.aussimastswimnsw.org.au/ShortCourseChampionships/2006_ShortCourseChampionshipflyer.pdf

 The events on offer are:

 Saturday:

           200 Free

  1. 100 Back
  2. 50 Breast
  3. 100 Fly
  4. 50 Free
  5. 100 IM
  6. 200 Breast

Sunday:

11.    200 Fly

12.    50 Back

13.    100 Free

14.    50 Fly

15.    100 Breast

16.    200 Back

This pool was tested by myself, John Wynberg and Hiroto back in April and all three of us gave it a big thumbs up.  The more people we get the better so be sure to get your entries in soon!

The easiest way to get more information on this and other carnivals and to enter is to do so online at :

 http://www.norths-aussi.org.au/calendar.asp

or you can send your entries directly to myself at dave_lovelace@hotmail.com or you can call me on 0412 388 578.

How to pay carnival entry fees via the Internet:
If your bank's Internet banking web site has a facility to transfer directly to somebody's bank account, then you can pay your carnival entry fees using the Internet. ANZ call this facility 'Pay Anyone' and St George call it 'Transfer to Third Party'. Ask your bank if you are not sure.

Transfer the entry fee to the account with the following details:
         BSB: 112879
         Account number: 119941836
         Account name: North Sydney AUSSI

Please make sure that you enter your name and what carnival entry you are paying for (so we know who has paid and why). If you can only enter one of these, enter your name.

Note that this is a direct bank to bank transfer. It does not go through any web site associated with the club. The entire transaction is controlled by protection provided by the banks.
