The Awards

Masters NSW Open Water Swimmer of the Year - Women

Masters NSW Open Water Swimmer of the Year – Men

Masters NSW Open Water Swimming Club of the Year (most Points)

Certificates will also be awarded to top Male and Female in each age group.

The Rules

1. 1. To be eligible for the Award swimmers must be registered members of a Masters Swimming NSW Club before 28 February 2007. No further entry is required and results will be included retrospectively to include all swims. To find a club to join visit www.aussimastswimnsw.org.au

2. 2. AUSSI Masters Swimming NSW and North Sydney AUSSI Masters Inc are not the organisers of any of the events. Swimmers must enter the events they choose to swim under the normal terms and conditions of each event. This includes accepting the at risk notification for each event.

3. 3. The results published by the event organisers are considered final. If a mistake or omission can be identified and corrected North Sydney AUSSI Inc will make reasonable attempts to do so. If an event is cancelled, postponed or the full results not published before the end of February 2007 then the results for that event will not count towards the Award.

4. 4. Swimmers will receive points out of 100 for each event they swim. The average of a swimmers top 3 swims will be the basis of the Award. The points are calculated by comparing the swimmer’s time to the fastest and slowest time of all swimmers in the event in both Male and Female categories.
